Hey everyone, I think I found the weight of the G70 in various trims...

G70 2.0 Turbo (19" rims)
[RWD] - 1630kg
[AWD] - 1695kg


G70 3.3 Turbo (19" rims)
[RWD] - 1705kg
[AWD] - 1775kg


...this is all Korean spec. I assume US and Canadian spec trims will be slightly different; even so, at least we can get a better idea of how much this thing weighs compared to other cars. As it stands from this list, it looks like the G70 will be approximately 100lbs less than the Stinger, given a similar trim (ie V6 vs 4cyl, and AWD vs RWD). I don't know about everyone else, but I was hoping there would be a bigger difference in weight vs the Stinger... :c

100lbs seems like plenty to me and I honestly wouldn't compare the two models anyways, with the Stinger being a sport sedan and the G70 being more of a touring kind of vehicle. Actually quite happy with how light it is considering how many features the car comes equipped with.

Love the jump in displacement because to me that sets these two apart similar to what more well established brands have been doing. Come time to drive these it better drive as good as it looks on paper.

I bet another 100kg can be easily shaved off on a performance model G70. Maybe 200kg's!
