I need to get a new car in the next few years because mine is getting a bit beat up. Was looking at the current genesis and it's not as nice looking as the concept even though I do love the luxurious interior and how it drives. Maybe the Genesis 70 is the one that'll make me pull the trigger. I just hope they stay close to the concept model.

I'm hoping for the same as well, thankfully you have a bit of time and can wait for it to come to production. It does look quite breathtaking doesn't it ?

Have you been looking for anything else besides the Genesis ?

I'm in the same position as you and right now have Hyundai and Lexus are the top 2 brands i'll consider. Runner up is Infiniti, big changes going on for them apparently so i'll be waiting for that to happen.

Infiniti should be coming out with some interesting things indeed. Lexus has always had some good stuff so I mean, a top contender indeed.

I'm not too sure if Infiniti will be coming out with anything like the G70 anytime soon. They just put out pricing on their Q60 but I think that's gonna be it for a little bit. They may be focusing on the suv/cuv next ?

The infiniti Q60 is a contender too, that coupe is a real beauty but it'll all come down to pricing and what each can offer me. The G70 right now is still in the concept stage so it's hard to tell at this point but I'm sure when I do decide, Infiniti will still be selling the Q60.

I think the Q60 is quite pricey for what it is. I think it's more expensive than it's german competition

It's basically at the point in price that your open to a lot of things, so someone who picks what ever they do out of that range has to really like it and quite frankly I see a lot of people going the german route more often. The Infiniti is nice, reliable, cheaper on maintenance but there's an image most are after.

The german competition definitely carry a higher "name" if you will, and are thought more highly of in almost every situation.
