Added width out back as indicated by the wheels has me wondering what rear cargo/passenger room is like.
Could the GV70 be a three-row?

As with that test vehicle, this Niro’s wheelbase is significantly altered, and the track is much wider as well. This suggests the Genesis model will slot beneath the GV80 – in fact, the platform could be a derivative of the G70 sedan.
If I had to guess, the GV70 would be a two-row SUV and the GV80 would have three rows.Added width out back as indicated by the wheels has me wondering what rear cargo/passenger room is like.

sporty 2nd-row captain seats in the GV70 would be great but optional, i'll be surprised if its standardIf I had to guess, the GV70 would be a two-row SUV and the GV80 would have three rows.
If Genesis did that it would be really cool and unique. I could see it as an option if the GV70 has three rows. I don't know if they'd do that in a two row SUV.sporty 2nd-row captain seats in the GV70 would be great but optional, i'll be surprised if its standard
I think it's more likely that we see that as an option after its initial release. I'd be surprised if they did that right out of the gate.It can be done to a two-row SUV, one that's purely focused on sport but I bet Genesis was more practicality.
Unfortunately Genesis said they need sales volume.I think it's more likely that we see that as an option after its initial release. I'd be surprised if they did that right out of the gate.
I do have a feeling the SUVs will take priority over the sedans especially since that's the way the market is going. I hope it rescues their bottom line like you said so they can do some cool stuff with the sedans.Unfortunately Genesis said they need sales volume.
Sedans didn't do it so SUV's have to rescue their bottom line. At least for now till things improve.
However... I might be wrong. Maybe they'll push harder?
