Car and Driver put together their annual Lightning Lap at Virginia International Raceway where the G70 3.3T Dynamic was one of the participants.

It recorded a lap time of 3:07.3 which put it ahead of the 2019 Hyundai Veloster N (3:07.7) and the 2018 Kia Stinger GT (3:11.6). It finished 17th out of 21 vehicles.

This is a very interesting lineup of cars for this test. It's pretty cool to see the G70 have the same time as a NSX, even if it's a 20 year old car.

I'm aslo bit surprised it wasn't able to beat the Alfa Romeo Stelvio, that's one quick SUV.
