Got a '19 G70 2.0T

Hello Folks:

I got my wife a '19 G70 2.0T with Elite, Prestige, and Dynamic packages back in November '19. Victoria Black exterior. Gray Interior.

So far so good.

You may see some purple hue on the front fender arch that's actually white light bouncing off the lavender wall to the right of this car.

What has gas mileage been like for you?

My wife, who drives the car gets 12-13 mpg with idle shut off activated. The drive cycle is the extreme stop and go in and around downtown LA. 1-3 mile trips. I haven't noted highway only. In the first tankful where driving was somewhat more mixed, we got 300 miles range with a couple gallons left in the tank.

I can't wait for Genesis to start working on performance hybrids as the G70 could go that direction.

I hope so too. But before that and even introducing crossover SUVs, Genesis needs to get as many standalone dealers built ASAP. I remember going into a Hyundai/Genesis dealer (not where I purchased) in the Torrance, CA, and that place looked like a dumpy mess. Parking was so sparse too. Buying these types of cars are a delicate, emotional and possibly fickle thing. And I can imagine the mood going out the window by the time one walks into the showroom, for many trying to buy a Genesis at that location.

Last I read, SUV's were an essential role to expanding dealer footprint. So expect to see them along with the SUV's.
