Dealer told me it would be well over $100 to change two blades. Almost went for it but figured there has to be a way to get it done myself. As you know, the blades are nicely covered by the hood, and it's impossible to raise the wiper arm (or so I thought) to change the parts.

Auto Zone store manager goes into hid computer and has the problem figured out in a minute.

Car has a "service mode" for wiper replacement. Here goes:

Turn car on, then off. Within 5 seconds of turning off, raise wiper stalk to highest position and hold for 3 seconds. The wiper stalk/arm will rise and stop over windshield allowing access to clops to replace.

my dealer charge my wife $120.00 for wiper arms & blades.

The owners manual is always going to tell you how to replace wiper blades on any car. I can't believe people actually pay someone to change wiper blades holy cow manure. You should really check out RockAuto you can get wiper blades at a great price especially the premium ones.
