What levels of performance are you looking for in the G70? as far as i'm concerned it offers superb performance, just not if you're after AMG and M levels of it.
Would you be looking at the 2.0T or 3.3T engine? because depending on what you're looking for that makes a big difference.I currently drive a 16' 330xi and have started weighing out my options beyond BMW. The 3-Series drives great and not something I want to let go of unless its offered elsewhere and apparently the G70 exactly this? If you came from a BMW and already spent a few months with the G70 I will appreciate your feedback. Its the first sporty sedan we've seen from Genesis so i'm not entirely convinced its the 3-Series rival it was made out to be but maybe i'm wrong...
I have yet to hear complaints. 2.0T had a few but it came from people that were always used to bigger engines.I have the 3.3 T Advanced. Excellent package. Luxury Sport.
Same thing here, the people I know who have the 2.0T love the way it performs.I have yet to hear complaints. 2.0T had a few but it came from people that were always used to bigger engines.
I traded in a 2015 435i grand coupe back in August '19...bought the G70 3.3 and let me tell you. This car handles better and will blow the doors off any 3 or 4 series BMW. ......G70 365 HP but in sport mode she guzzles gas.I currently drive a 16' 330xi and have started weighing out my options beyond BMW. I'll put my 3.3 up against any 3 series bimmer out there except a M series. Better warranty to start with. Best bang for the buck. Badge Whores need not apply.I currently drive a 16' 330xi and have started weighing out my options beyond BMW. Oh no doubt, G70's interior, exterior, and performance more than hold their own with the 3-Series.I'll put my 3.3 up against any 3 series bimmer out there except a M series. Better warranty to start with. Best bang for the buck. Badge Whores need not apply.
BMW 3 series sells only because of the in house leasing program. They are a maintenance nightmare. There's a reason why so many pre-owned are on dealer lots.Oh no doubt, G70's interior, exterior, and performance more than hold their own with the 3-Series.
Have your alignment checked. It's free. Mine was out at two different positions. That can make a big difference. Chunked the OE Michelin tires for Bridgestone EMT tires. That helped too. The Michelin tires compound is simply to soft IMHO. They grabbed every little imperfection in the road surface. My 435 i grand coupe was gorgeous but the G70 rides better and is much faster. The G70 has the better warranty and should depreciate less than the 435. I have about 3500 miles on my G70 and I do notice steering wheel shaking sliltley when hard breaking. Its goes in for maintenance at 5000 miles. The rotors will have to be addressed
