Modded G70

Not too many modded G70s in the U.S. at least. The G70 is a good looking car for sure. However, with a few minor tweaks, I knew it could be improved.

My goal was to give it a bit more of an agressive stance but still maintain its luxuriousness. I wanted it to look as if it came from the factory as if they made an N model.

The fender gap is way to large stock, but I didnt want it slammed. So, used Kia Stinger Eibach springs (.8" drop all around for a RWD).

Here are the full details:
2019 G70 3.3T Sport RWD
Eibach Pro Kit springs
20x9 +32, 20x10 +40 Vertini RFS 1.3 wheels
245/35/20, 275/30/20 Falken FK510 tires
Moya trunk spoiler

The wheels are noticeably lighter than the stock 19" sport wheels. This isn't my DD so I only have a couple hundred miles on it, but with the lower profile tires and springs, it does ride a little rougher, but handling is better. No rubbing.

Anyway, here is the finished product.

Like the lowering, certainly more aggressive looking. However, I don't think that the G70 wears a rear wing well. Just MHO. BTW, my only mod was to install a hard to see from the outside V-1. Leased car, you know.

Like all things with cars, preferences are subjective. In my opinion, the G70 needs a small spoiler to balance out the rear end and to add a dark accent to tie in the black roof, dark wheels (including the stock sport wheels) and lower valence. It should have been standard or at least an option on the Sport model to further stand apart from the other models.

Not sure what a V-1 is. Yeah, even though I dont keep cars very long (3 to 4 years tops), I'd never lease one because I pretty much mod everything I drive. Lol

Cheers

Agree with need for some kind of dark accents on the rear. Personally, I would have liked "freshets" on the read bumpers a la Camry. Also agree that we should go with what we like...it's all personal, eh?
