Going through the online configurator i'm noticing the 2019 genesis accessories list to be lacking. Of all the options Canadians get, Americans with my New York zip code just get 5. Is anyone else here experiencing this? If you are i'd like to know and if you found more at you local dealer. Those 5 items have been wheel locks, rear mudguards, rear bumper applique, cargo tray and first aid kit. Floor mats are no where to be seen. :|

I've found some floor matts on a third party site, and I believe they are OEM. For what they cost, it might make more sense to just go with WeatherTech or something similar though. Looks like there are also sport pedals and illuminated door sills coming. Aftermarket support continues to be a weak point for Hyundai, but that may change with their new N performance line.

We know already that Genesis doesn't have any plans to release a performance variant of the G70 to rival that of AMG or BMW's M models, at least not anytime soon. Maybe once they can get some sales under their belt, they can begin to explore new tunes and performance parts. Current accessories are very limited, and I haven't seen anything that I would consider a must buy.

I guess we can say we've seen it coming. Even Infiniti hesitated on launching their GT-R powered version of the Q50 to the masses.

What kind of accessories would you like to see @FastG? One thing I think should be considered is puddle lights for the doors. I don't see those mentioned anywhere in the equipment list and I have always found them to be very helpful. Would be great to get ones that also have the Genesis logo/badging projected onto the ground.

Sporty focused accessories like spoilers, lip kits, splitters and so on. Sort of like what BMW, Mercedes and Audi offers, and in recent years Lexus.

Hopefully the aftermarket steps in with those kinds of options. Don't need them directly from OEM because that's going to come with an inflated price tag. Hi-Motors already has some great options to choose from. Hyundai motors accessories

I'm banking on some Korean tuning brands based in Korea to find their way state side even more now because in the past they've done well at bringing products to their home market.
A lot of those products were highly sought after even faked in other markets that didn't get them originally.

We will need some local options, because it will be way too expensive to order parts from Korea. I cant find definitively where that Hi Motors company is located. I think they might be an import/export company. Not sure why but that link is dead so here's a working one. Reaching out to shops that have a lot of Genesis/Hyundai customers and waiting for bulk orders to come in so you can place yours might be a good route.

My G70 3.3 Sport has puddle lights that come on as I approach the car. They are built into the undersides of the mirrors . They are off by default. One must go into the settings menu to turn them on. Two optional settings to choose from besides the off default. M
