Genesis has confirmed that their entry level luxury sedan will start from $35,895 which just so happens to be the same base price as a 2018 BMW 3 Series. Odds are that most people will be interested in the manual 4 cylinder Sport model, which starts at $38,985. For the additional $3,000 you'll get an LSD, Brembo brakes and performance pads, a sports exhaust system and 19inch alloy wheels with Michelin PS4 summer tires.

Elite 2.0- $40,895
Prestige 2.0- $45,985

Advance 3.3 V6- $44,745
Elite 3.3 V6- $46,745
Prestige 3.3 V6- $48,995
Sport 3.3 V6- $50,495

AWD will add $2,000 to the price tag but that wont be available on the 6 speed manual.

I was hoping that Genesis would undercut rivals like the 3 series, but I'm sure with some additional options we will see it come in under. Have to wait on long term reviews, but chances are that the G70 will also have much lower running costs.

The G70 Sport V6 AWD base price is higher than I would have liked, but when comparing to the BMW you have to consider that to equally equip it the price will quickly pass 60K.
BMW 3 & Audi 4 have “teaser” base prices, but it’s real easy to add 10-15K in options to them.

Just wanted to update this with a clear and concise pricing bracket. Keep in mind with the issues that Genesis has had moving models, that there are bound to be some great incentives across dealerships.

I still can't get past the fact they are priced closer to the BMW 3 series which is far out of its league.
I just went on the BMW USA site and option’d up a 340i xDrive GT and the price came out to 65,085

That’s about 15K higher than a loaded G70 3.3T AWD

that is a good way to look at it from an apples to apples comparison but to people who are chasing brands, the G70 might just give them more of a reason to get a 3-Series or 4-Series.
seen this for myself with folks that get a german vehicle with less features than its korean or japanese rival
