As far back as I can remember these were offered since 2014 on the Equus and probably the Genesis sedan from that point on. Features like this have become a standard throughout the industry. Is this a feature we can expect on the upcoming G70?

I ask this because Genesis is going through an entire revamp and this is a luxury-sport model. Need some insight.

Passengers that slam my door are a huge pet-peeve ! I really hope they do bring that feature back and have it standard on the G70 though. The power soft close doors on the Equus were amazing and I can't see why they wouldn't implement the same tech into the G70. It's one of those little features that people appreciate a lot.

Welcome to budget car makers. That's something you should expect to see as the years go on and Genesis comes out with more cheaper products. I just hope a mid-cycle refresh will include these small but vital features. Do you think that will be possible to some extent?

Not sure if the G70 comes with the soft-close doors because I can't find any mention of it anywhere. As far as I know, only the G90 has it. Probably for the best IMO because the soft-close door's motors could break over time.
