For 2021, the G70 is getting some big design changes that come from some of the brands latest vehicles; G80, G90 and GV80. This means, a new and bigger grille, new headlights and new taillights. Also, if you look at pictures of the upcoming GV70, similarities between it and this facelifted G70 can be noticed.

That exhaust looks massive! Hopefully that means some more performance as well!

Points to Note:

• new Genesis signature headlights and taillights w/twin horiztonal lenses
• the version seen here wears Kia Stinger alloy wheels (any guesses why? a hint of something?)
• interior will receive a major makeover

Some of these are similar to the GV80 and new G80, as you can expect with Genesis streamlining things.

A pathetically low bar to measure against. Sadly, I think the new G90 is worse. Soon the grills will have to wrap around the wheels to contain the massive ugliness.

I like huge grills when they complement the design which is the case with Genesis.

BMW on the other hand took it way too far.

The 2021 G80 looks great and if its any indication of what we can expect in the facelifted G70, then we have nothing to worry about:

Also, aesthetics aside, performance upgrades should come too. The new 2021 Kia Stinger GT was spied testing on the Nurburgring Nordschleife and might be a hint of what's to come.

One publication reported this:
"While mid-cycle refreshes rarely see powertrain changes, rumors suggest the 2021 Kia Stinger GT will see a power bump. The twin-turbocharged 3.3-liter V6 in the Stinger GT makes 365 horsepower (272 kilowatts) and 376 pound-feet (510 Newton-meters) of torque. The updated mill allegedly makes 380 hp (283 kW) and 390 lb-ft (528 Nm). The regular Stinger could get Hyundai’s new turbocharged 2.5-liter that produces 290 hp (216 kW)."
