Safety

Advanced active safety systems have become standard features over the years and Genesis follows suit with the G70. For 2019 we get Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian Detection, Smart Cruise Control, Blind Spot Collision Warning, Rear Cross-traffic Warning, Driver Attention Warning system and Lane Keeping Assist. Overall these ensure the highest levels of safety and significantly reduced odds of getting into a collision.

Is there anything exclusive to those special editions that can't be equipped on the regular models? Most of what I've seen listed is similar to what you get in the Sport package.

I'm kind of disappointed we didn't get more design cues from the upcoming G80, I always felt this G70 had too many soft lines.

The Design Edition gets a special Black Forest Green exterior paint that's contrasted by a cream and dark green interior. The steering wheel is also wrapped in a special Pasubio leather. Dynamic has performance brake pads, a special tuning for the suspension and an upgraded cooling system.

In cases like these dealers have shown they're willing to bargain and if that wasn't the intention from the start, odds are they're taking a loss on each model just to prop up the brand

They did similar special edition versions of the G90 last year, though I wasn't a big fan of the two tone color scheme. I imagine that most of the allocations are being reserved for their home market anyways.
