Hi all! I just traded in my 2018 Elantra Sport for a 2020 G70 3.3T today! The performance is night and day compared to the Elantra Sport. I’m absolutely in love with the car!

What other vehicles were you considering before going with the G70?
How did you spec your G70 when ordering it?

Thanks a lot dude! I was actually considering cars from all segments. I recently adopted a big German Shepherd, so the Volvo V60 was on my list (I have a soft spot for wagons). The pricing was a bit cheaper than the G70, but obviously, the performance isn't there. I also considered the Alfa Romeo Giulia, but I know reliability issues plague the brand. Then I considered the usual 330i, A4, or C300, but all these cars are rather boring and the performance is nowhere near as good as the G70 3.3T.

I've always been a huge fan of Korean cars (being Korean myself), so I wanted to stay "loyal" to Korean brands 😂

Spec wise, I didn't order my G70 per say. I'm located in California, so the dealerships here carry a lot of stock, so I had a lot of choices. Options didn't matter to me as much, I just wanted a black G70 with a 3.3T with the non-sport wheels. I wish I got the saddle brown interior, but this gray/stone interior is quite lovely too!

Congratulations on the new G70 @SCJason! You'll fall in love with that 3.3T motor. Are you going to add any mods or keep it stock?

Thank you! I’m not quite sure. I’ve already switched out the turn signal and back up lights for LED bulbs. Window tint is going on today. I’m thinking about getting a lip spoiler.

Performance upgrade wise, I may have to wait a little bit more. Still thinking whether I want to do upgrades since this is my daily.

Have you done any mods to your G70?
