Upholstery discoloration

I’ve noticed these small purple dots on the leatherette portion of my seats. None have appeared on the leather seating surfaces themselves. I’ve tried to remove them with various products without success. Anybody experience this?

Leatherette can be tricky. What products/methods have you tried so far?

Dawn dishwashing soap mixed with water, a q-tip dipped in alcohol and Chemical Guys leather cleaner.
