I saw several complaints about tire wear, but my michelin sport rear tires lasted a whopping 6k miles and are shot. '19 g70 sports package 2.4. This has been an ongoing problem, I don't want to replace the rear tires every 3 months.

If the entire tire is wearing out evenly corner to corner that is your driving plan and simple. You need to move to a tire with a higher tread life.

Such as? I have 45k warranteed tires, but because they are staggered, warranty is 22.5k. I have looked around, talked to the tire guys, and they said I have excellent tires. Michelin pilot sport ultra high performance.

The front tires are the same and were changed at the same time. They are fine. Car was also aligned about 9 months ago.

I am fairly certain I will be getting rid of the car, I don't want this constant tire problem...

michelin pilot sport all season 4 are the tires I have. Which I assume is the same tires you have. I currently probably have about 6,000 miles on them and the rear tires basically still look like new. They have a treadwear rating of 540 which is actually pretty decent. The tries that came on the car were michelin primacy. They have the same treadwear rating of 540. Maybe the other person is talking about the summer Tire version which does have a lower treadwear rating.

I've been accused of being a reckless driver enough. My mechanic knows how I drive, he's been with me on several trips. He said there is something other than my driving that is an issue. I am just trying to find tires that will last...he initially thought it was the tires, but this is the fourth set over 40k miles. I am getting rid of the car. You people have no idea how I drive, know that is the initial response always. I speed, but 10-15 mph over limit. And I do not take turns hard...
